The Wierman Insurance Agency, located at 1011 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, PA was founded in 1973 by John B. Wierman. It was his goal to provide his neighbors with personal service by offering insurance coverage from reputable providers. In 1976, following completion of a bachelor's degree in business administration from Penn State University, the agency was taken over by John's son, William Wierman.

Assisted by his wife, Wendy Wierman, Bill continues to maintain the high level of quality service that was so important to his father, John. Often times, Bill finds himself "The Answer Man" as his clients have come to rely on him for help with issues other than insurance and notary public. With a smile, Bill is always ready to help in any way he can.

As a member of the community since 1959, Bill is involved in many organizations. After achieving the rank of Eagle Scout himself, Bill served as Treasurer for 19 years to Boy Scout Troop 269, sponsored by Trinity United Methodist Church. He then became the Treasurer of his son's Cub Scout Pack 54 in Camp Hill and held that position for 5 years. Bill remains an active committee member for Boy Scout Troop 54 at this time.
