Vehicle Insurance Military

In the military, if I buy a motorcycle do I register it in the state I buy it, where I’m stationed, or live?
My legal home of residence is in Nebraska but I would like to buy a bike in Arkansas or Florida.
Which state do I pay taxes, title, licensing fees in? And thus where would I register the vehicle? I’m going to be stationed in Florida but like I said, my legal home of residence is in Nebraska and my drivers license and car registration/Insurance is in Nebraska.
Ok, I’ve already taken the BRC from the MSF, and I am interested in a sportbike. I already had a ninja 250 to begin with and I’ve ridden that for 2 years…
I guess I’m also looking to see where I would pay the tax, title, and licensing at and thus how insurance would work and if there is an advantage to registering it in one state over the other… but thank you very much for the responses so far!
You can register wherever is more convenient for you. Then once registered with the DMV you have to register it with the base, as well as letting your chain of command know you want to buy a bike, before you purchase one. They should offer you help getting to both the Basic Riders Course as well as the Experienced Riders Course about 120 days later. If you are interested in a sports bike, there will be a third course to take the Sports bike course offered by folks affiliated with Keith Code. They are all good courses, and who wouldn’t enjoy getting time off to go ride a motorcycle? Sounds like a good scam.
